This week is only two days old and I feel like I’ve been fighting three weeks worth of pain.
I woke up at 1am Monday morning feeling really sick. Spent much of the morning in the bathroom worshiping at the porcelain alter. Then had no energy to do anything else the rest of the day.
Monday came to an end with a growing headache.

The headache remained and has been trying to kill me all of today.
My wife had a doctor’s appointment that I usually drove her to. Today I couldn’t get up enough to drive the car that far. She had to catch a bus to and back.
I did have to move the car a few hours later just so I wouldn’t get a parking ticket because of the street cleaner. Which was a four block walk in the heat to get to the car. I was really tired by the time I got back.
I was able to get down a bowl of soup.
The headache continued, but I had hoped to get some work done, but the computer hates this heat more than I do.
I was trying to draw a page of our webcomic Flying Glory and the Hounds of Glory using the Wacom Cintiq tablet. The mouse began to slow down or drag behind where I was putting the stylus.
So, I had to shut the computer down in order to let it cool off. (I have fans under it, and that’s not even enough.)
Not able to do any Voice Over recording in the booth in this heat either.
Hopefully, I’ll be able to get it back up long enough to get blog posted. (As I’m editing this preparing to post, it is slowing down again even in Microsoft Word.)
Years ago I incorporated my headache into one of my stories. It was a time travel story in which the trailer gets headache whenever a future version of himself is arrived in his time period. Maybe I’ll revive that story sometime, my future self must really hate me.
Tomorrow is supposed to be hotter; I’m scared.
Thanks for reading my ramble. I need to go rest.
